چکیده
Coal mine goaf detection remains confronted with the lack of fast, effective and low-cost exploration means, especially for accurate prediction mining threats primarily caused by hydraulic infiltration. The rapid popularization passive electromagnetic methods has contributed greatly to improving interpretation effects different types goafs. This paper, firstly, summarizes pros cons various in detection. Then, feasibility using novel (e.g., super low frequency alternating magnetic component method (SLF) audio magnetotelluric (AMT)) is proposed further discussed. With well-designed geo-electrical models, theoretical results demonstrate that semi-quantitative SLF responses can be directly used delineation target layer estimated depth range. In contrast, 3D inversion provides more information about conductive targets appropriate initial model selection. shallow, low-resistive accurately allocated maps. Moreover, real data from study areas utilize effectively identify fault structures, indirectly contributes judge collapse locations favor describing potential distribution fracture water Combined three-dimensional (3D) resistivity AMT data, water-rich within 400 m were revealed. inverted distributions are basically consistent those water-filled goafs surrounding layers, which also confirmed known logging data. detailed delineations water-control zones inferred relate aquifers some areas; this reveal collapses require successive planning. specific working faces, risks have been handled advance strengthening continuous monitoring level inflow. above verification laid a practical foundation predicting collapse-type or coal

Impacts of coal shrinkage, permeability and petrography on gas regime in mines Case study: Tahmoor coal mine, NSW, Australia
The volumetric changes in the coal matrix (Coal Shrinkage), permeability under various gas environment conditions as well as perographical properties were studied in the laboratory. The shrinkage and permeability of coal were examined with respect to changing gas type and confining pressures. The shrinkage tests were carried out in high-pressure bombs while the permeability study was conducted ...
متن کاملNutrition Of Coal Mine Workers ( A Case Study Of Korba Coal Mines , Chhattisgarh )
Coal mining with perspective of health is a crucial area in India. The health condition of mine workers including women and children is one of the most serious impacts of mining. Workers not only suffers from external environmental situation of mines also they faces reduction in quality of life due to denial of access of food availability livelihoods. India, in this aspect poses a much more dan...
متن کاملInvestigating the effect of fractures on unusual gas emission in coal mines; case study of Parvadeh coal mine, Iran
In the present study, an investigation was carried out on Parvadeh coal mine in Tabas, Iran, to survey the effect of fractures on unusual methane gas emission in coal mines. This coal mine was chosen for investigating because of its high methane gas content in the coal body and available data from sensors in desired locations. Gas concentration monitoring programs were carried out at the mine s...
متن کاملRisk prediction based on a time series case study: Tazareh coal mine
In this work, the time series modeling was used to predict the Tazareh coal mine risks. For this purpose, initially, a monthly analysis of the risk constituents including frequency index and incidence severity index was performed. Next, a monthly time series diagram related to each one of these indices was for a nine year period of time from 2005 to 2013. After extrusion of the trend, seasonali...
